Bay and Bow Windows

Retain the original character of a bay window

Bay and bow windows retain the traditional look of your home creating space, character and allowing light to flood your room. No matter what your current property style and bay window area, we can replace older and character windows with a new modern alternative without compromising the look compared to the old windows.

Our bow windows offer you the versatility of creating the illusion of space and depth by allowing more light into your home without the need for additional building work. All bay & bow windows can incorporate Casement, and Tilt & Turn styles to suit your home.

What is the difference between a bay and bow window? These windows will often look similar at first glance however the key differences are shown below:

Bow Window

Bow windows can be fitted to a property with no existing bay or standard bay brick work. They are constructed using supports below and above to make the window seem like it is curving out of a flat wall. This creates a large amount of brightness and greater feeling of space inside the room, and even subtly can enhance the outside of the home adding character. Depending on how far the window arches out of the wall, extra seating or storage space can be obtained.

Bay Window

Bay windows are the most common between bow and bay, most commonly made up of 3 brick sides or a curving bay on the ground and first floor above. The new window frames then replace the old ones however they are originally in the space or to your own specification. These are often a feature of any room allowing more space and light to flood into the room and the new modern alternatives can enhance and also protect the look of the property.
