Customer Case Study – Replacement Conservatory Roof

Leekes customers Mr & Mrs Harrington from South Wales contacted Leekes for our help after the glass roof on their existing conservatory had left the space unbearably hot and unused.

The Harrington’s opted for a UltraRoof380 which offers an authentic looking lightweight tiled roofing system complete with vaulted plaster finished interior. Whilst previous options years ago either resulted in a new conservatory or unattractive solutions, customers can now choose a stunning tile effect design with flexible glazing options and a solid plastered ceiling, with optional spot lights. One of the key benefits is also that the new roof can be fitted on to the old frames meaning a quick and seamless installation. There is also the option to upgrade the frames with Leekes too, to a more energy efficient alternative in a different colour option. All frames removed along with the roof are then taken away by Leekes and recycled.

‘Leekes sent an estimator who gave us a fixed price for a new well insulated tiled roof.

‘A surveyor then came and he suggested we keep two glass panels to obtain good lighting. He spent much time paying attention to the smallest details which enabled the fitter to carefully remove our existing roof and fit the new one, to keep everything dry, all in one day.

‘The fitters covered all the floors, woodwork and were very careful to avoid any damage. The exterior roof tiles were chosen to match our bungalow and garage tiles and the thick insulation was boarded and plastered.

‘All of this work has resulted in us being able to use a comfortable room 365 days of the year as the insulation also keeps it much warmer on colder days.

‘From start to finish all of the persons employed were professional, efficient and you could not of had a better relationship with them.’
